Let's call them barbarians

Let's not mess around with this one. Barbarians is what they are. Uncivilized. Savages. That's all. I'm calling them that based on their behaviors. I no longer care if I am referred to as a racist. I know what I am and I know what I'm not. I write what I mean, I write what I feel. Let's call them barbarians. We're going to call them barbarians because it is an accurate description of their behavior. We're going to call them barbarians because they think their behavior isn't barbaric and they need to be told it is. It's childish, it's bratty, it's snotty, it's ruining lives.

A week ago, a man named George Floyd was murdered by a cop. "The cops are systemic racists!" has been the chant of the socially regressive media and their socially regressive allies for quite a while. Even in instances where it was established that racism played limited to no factor. No one had this much outrage when Justine Damond was shot to death by a Minneapolis cop three years ago. Because the fuel that's been fanned by the socially regressive media is that the cops possess systemic racism. Whatever systemic racism means.

And with the death of George Floyd, a black man by a white cop, it seems that all that is infecting people's minds right now is that we must undergo a "cleansing of racism!" But most of us have already undergone this cleansing. We're taking an individual instance of a white cop murdering a black man and using that to "cleanse everyone else"? We've just had the shooting of Ahmaud Arbery but no protests over that? We've had the killing of George Floyd and now everyone snaps? It doesn't seem like people actually believe that racial injustice is something that needs to be cleansed to begin with. In fact, most of the people I saw condemning the killing of Ahmaud Arbery were conservatives. What is it about George Floyd though? Is it because a cop killed him that now everyone must undergo a "cleansing" or is it just that George Floyd is a snapping point?

That aside, let's just face the facts. Racism is at a very low point in American society right now. We're not the nation we were in the 60s. There are no laws rigged against one race over the other. That the system is inherently racist can only be attributed to our laws regarding affirmative action. But whether or not George Floyd's death was from a cop who had a fueled hatred for blacks or whether the cop was just looking for the most wicked opportunity to crush the neck of somebody, nothing, justifies the barbaric and savage response to the death of George Floyd.

There was a group of people that were involved in terrorizing the Roman Empire shortly before its collapse. This group was known as the Vandals. The Vandals were notoriously known for wrecking things. They would go into a place and tear apart the buildings, the temples, the markets, the homes, anything they could get their hands on, they were known for destroying. That was the one thing they loved. They would come in and destroy and they wouldn't build anything up. That is where we derive our term for vandalism. The Vandals were one of the myriad of barbarian groups that destroyed Rome. The Vandals were barbarians.

Now, we have a new group of vandals. These vandals rush into your local Target and they haul out the expensive TVs, grab the "free" gummy bears, force supermarkets over the country to close, burn down local salons, liquor stores, small businesses. And these modern day vandals, ideological descendants of the Vandals, never had any involvement in building these institutions up. If they did, they wouldn't be doing this. Especially not in a time when all of these businesses are already suffering tremendous losses. They tear up and destroy indiscriminately. They do it in the name of racial justice but they don't care about the fact that people are going to lose jobs when they don't have a work place to return to. They don't care about the fact that by "hurting white people" they're actually hurting humanity. All of humanity. They are destroying civilization.

These modern day vandals ceaselessly tear up the roots of civilization, they seek to depose order. That is what a barbarian does. Barbarians are crassly cultureless individuals. These people are crassly cultureless individuals because they are barbarians. They wreck and destroy just like their ideological ancestors. They do this because they have no ideology of their own. Their ideology is one of destruction. They've more than likely been taught that acting upon one's animal instinct is the only way to satiate their sexual lusts. They've likely been taught abortion is a woman's right. They've likely been taught that screaming and throwing a temper tantrum is the best method to enact their wills. These people have no ideology other than destruction.

That is why they are socially regressive. To give into their demands and to form society to their wishes doesn't end their riots because riots can only be resolved by progress. But they have no ideology other than destruction. Their wishes cannot be progress. Their wishes must be the exact opposite of progress. They are barbarians. Cultureless barbarians. They are morally degenerate animals with an appetite for destruction and the breakdown of society. That is all they are and the only group of people proud of them right now are the Vandals.
